Actor Jr NTR has given fans a reassuring health update after undergoing shoulder surgery. The actor recently had an arthroscopic procedure at KIMS Hospitals in Secunderabad and reached out to his fans on X to thank them for their love and prayers.
Jr NTR’s Health Update
Jr NTR said he was deeply touched by the support he had received. The ‘Dragon’ actor also confirmed that the procedure went well. He thanked the doctors at KIMS for taking care of him.

His update was met with an immediate response from fans. Several followers wished him a quick recovery and asked him to take care of himself. Many others filled the comments with messages of love and support.
Jr NTR’s Injury
Jr NTR reportedly injured his shoulder on July 27, 2026. Doctors advised him to take complete rest for around six to eight weeks. While some reports claimed that the injury may have happened during an activity, others linked it to the shoot of his upcoming film Dragon. However, there has been no official confirmation from the actor’s team about how he sustained the injury.
On July 27, the actor’s team issued a statement that read, “We regret to inform everyone that Mr NTR sustained an unfortunate shoulder injury earlier this evening. Following a thorough medical evaluation, the team of doctors headed by Dr. J. Madhusudan Rao and Dr. R. A. Purnachandra Tejaswi has advised complete rest for six to eight weeks to ensure a smooth and complete recovery. We would like to assure everyone that there is absolutely no cause for panic. We will continue to share official updates regarding his health and recovery as and when appropriate. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.”
The actor underwent surgery on August 12 at KIMS Hospitals in Secunderabad.
Jr NTR is now expected to focus on his recovery and rehabilitation. Reports suggest that he may take around two to three months to get back to his normal routine, while he has been advised to rest for six to eight weeks.
