A hit-and-run incident unfolded on Balaji Mill Road in Maharashtra’s Sangli district, where a drunk driver rammed his Skoda car into multiple vehicles on Sunday.
According to police, the car was speeding
on the wrong side of the road when the intoxicated driver lost control and crashed into five to six vehicles, including two two-wheelers. The impact left six to seven people injured, all of whom were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Authorities said the driver fled the scene after the collisions. Police have launched a search for the accused and initiated further investigation into the incident.
