Actors Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna are all set to begin a new chapter together. After months of speculation around their relationship, fresh details about their upcoming wedding have now emerged.

According to a source close to the actors, the much-loved on-screen pair, who reportedly got engaged in a private ceremony last year, are planning to tie the knot in 2026 in a close-knit celebration.

While neither Rashmika nor Vijay has publicly spoken about their relationship or engagement, it was during their low-key engagement ceremony in October that Vijay’s team confirmed to Hindustan Times that the couple would be getting married in February. The same timeline has now been reaffirmed, with more clarity on the venue and date.

A source close to the couple has confirmed that Rashmika and Vijay’s wedding will take place on February 26, 2026, at a palace in Udaipur. The couple has reportedly finalised one of the city’s heritage properties for their big day. Sharing details of the plan, the source said, “Rashmika and Vijay’s wedding is planned to take place on February 26 at a palace in Udaipur. They have finalised one of the heritage properties. Much like their engagement, the plan is to keep the wedding as intimate as possible with only their loved ones in attendance.”

At present, it remains unclear whether the actors plan to host a separate celebration or reception for their friends from the film industry after returning to Hyderabad. Given their preference for privacy so far, insiders suggest that any post-wedding festivities, if at all, may also be kept understated.

Rashmika and Vijay’s October engagement

Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda reportedly exchanged rings in Hyderabad on October 3, 2025, a day after Dasara. The ceremony was a strictly private affair attended only by close family members and a few friends. Despite the news of their engagement leaking soon after, neither actor made an official announcement. Vijay’s team, however, confirmed the development to HT and reiterated at the time that the wedding would take place in February.

Since then, subtle hints from both actors have kept fans intrigued. Vijay’s public display of affection towards Rashmika at an event for The Girlfriend caught attention, while Rashmika spoke candidly about how her ‘partner’ healed pain he did not cause.

The duo first won hearts together in the 2018 hit Geetha Govindam and later starred in Dear Comrade in 2019. They also led the 43rd India Day Parade in New York and attended Bharat Beyond Borders this year. Following the engagement leak, both actors have frequently been spotted wearing rings, further fuelling speculation.
