Ahan Shetty is gearing up for the release of Border 2. The film, which will be released on January 23, is especially significant for Ahan as his father, Suniel Shetty, played one of the lead roles in Border. Ahead of Border 2’s release, Diljit Dosanjh gave a shout-out to Ahan on Instagram.
In his response, the Tadap actor opened up about his shooting experience with the Do You Know hitmaker.
Ahan Shetty Recalls ‘Best Time’ With Diljit Dosanjh On Border 2 Set
Taking to Instagram, Dosanjh uploaded a behind-the-scenes (BTS) moment he shared with Ahan during the shoot for the film. While Dosanjh praised Ahan’s quickness, the 30-year-old lauded the actor’s agility in the brief clip.

saab… Almost 4 days to go, Border 2. Border 2 Advance bookings open tomorrow,” Diljit captioned the post. Ahan reshared the same on his Instagram story. He revealed that the scene he shot with Dosanjh was physically demanding.
“Had the best time shooting this, but the soreness the next day wasn’t so great,” Ahan Shetty wrote.
Ahan Shetty On Playing A Naval Officer In Border 2
Ahan is playing an Indian Navy officer in the project. He said he felt a “sense of responsibility” when he wore the uniform for his character. “ I wanted the look to reflect the honesty and discipline of a Navy officer,” he said. “Seeing the love coming in for the Border 2 poster is truly humbling,” Ahan added.
The actor revealed the encouragement he received from the audience meant “a lot” to him. “It motivates me to give my absolute best to the film. I hope people feel that sincerity when they watch Border 2 on screen,” he told The Times of India.
Directed and written by J.P. Dutta, Border was released in 1997. Sunny Deol, Jackie Shroff, Suniel Shetty, Akshaye Khanna, Puneet Issar, Sudesh Berry, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Tabu, Pooja Bhatt, Rakhee Gulzar, Sharbani Mukherjee, Sapna Bedi, and Rajiv Goswami all played significant roles in the movie.
Border 2, billed as a sequel to the film, stars Sunny Deol, Ahan, Diljit Dosanjh, Varun Dhawan, Mona Singh and Sonam Bajwa in pivotal roles.
