The ongoing feud between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni has taken a dramatic turn. According to newly revealed court documents, Baldoni’s former agent, Danny Greenberg, described Lively’s behaviour during
the making of It Ends With Us as “extortion.” Greenberg claimed that Lively used her star power to demand creative control by creating intense pressure on Baldoni and the studio.
He said the situation became so tense that Baldoni was at risk of getting pushed out of his own film. While Greenberg admitted he did not mean literal criminal extortion, he used the word to describe the total pressure and manipulation from both Lively and the studio.
Blake Lively And Justin Baldoni Feud Intensifies
As per People, Danny Greenberg said, “My use of the word extortion there was referencing just cumulative behaviour that both the studio and [production company Wayfarer Studios] and Justin was having to manage.”
The WME agent, who represented Justin Baldoni during the film, reportedly advised him in July 2024 to send a letter to Sony about Blake Lively’s alleged attempt to take control of the movie. Greenberg also thought Lively had made threats related to the film’s premiere. He spoke with Sony production executive Ange Giannetti “about the behaviour that Blake was displaying along the way,” specifically mentioning “the premiere issue.”
Accounts From Makeup Artist And Talent Manager
According to TMZ, Lively’s makeup artist, Vivian Baker, in the court documents, shared that the alleged inappropriate incidents involving Baldoni happened during the first phase of filming It Ends With Us.
Meanwhile, her talent manager, Warren Zavala, said he was not aware of anything that made her uncomfortable during the second phase. Zavala added there was a concern when Lively raised an issue during the “post process” while watching a test version of the film.
Blake Lively accused Baldoni, his production company Wayfarer Studios and others involved with the film of sexually harassing her and trying to damage her reputation. Baldoni’s lawyer, Bryan Freedman, denied the claims and filed counterclaims against Lively, but the court later dismissed them.
