feels like it has arrived at just the right moment. For audiences who grew up watching Border, this new chapter brings back familiar emotions while adding a fresh layer to the story.
To mark the film’s release, Diljit Dosanjh, who plays Nirmal Jit Singh Sekhon, shared a few behind-the-scenes pictures from the sets. Along with the photos, the actor also opened up emotionally about the journey, expressing what it meant to him to be part of the film.

Diljit took to his Instagram to share a few glimpses from the sets of Border 2. The first picture shows the actor looking effortlessly dashing in his look from the film. The second slide captures a heartwarming moment from the shoot, where the Punjabi sensation is seen posing with kids on set. The third image is another behind-the-scenes still from the filming days.
The fourth slide stands out as especially meaningful, as Diljit is seen posing alongside the statue of Nirmal Jit Singh Sekhon, the character he portrays in the film. The remaining slides feature more cool shots from the film along with candid BTS moments. One picture also includes Sonam Bajwa, where the two actors are seen preparing for their scene, offering fans a glimpse into the filmmaking process.

In his caption, the actor poured his heart out, highlighting the immense hard work that went into making the film. He spoke about the team’s dedication and mentioned how director Anurag Singh spent nearly two years shaping the project. Diljit also reflected on his character in the post, and concluded by saying that portraying such a legendary figure on screen was an honour and a matter of deep respect for him.
