Even before the cameras rolled inside the theatre, one Bollywood superstar had already taken over the buzz around 7 Dogs. From towering posters at the venue to fans screaming online after a brief screen appearance, the Egypt premiere of the international action thriller turned into an unexpected Salman Khan celebration.
The much-talked-about film premiered in Egypt on Friday, and social media was quickly flooded with visuals from the grand event. While the movie features Egyptian stars Karim Abdel Aziz and Ahmed Ezz in lead roles, along with Sanjay Dutt and Monica Bellucci, it was Salman’s special appearance that became the biggest talking point online.
Fans were particularly excited after spotting giant posters of Salman displayed prominently
across the premiere venue. The actor, who did not attend the event in person, still ended up dominating conversations, with several attendees clicking selfies beside his larger-than-life character poster placed at the red carpet area.
Reacting to the visuals, one social media user wrote, “IT’S JUST SMALL CAMEO IN ‘7 DOGS’ MOVIE AND LOOK AT THIS!!! SPECIAL POSTER FOR SALMAN KHAN ALONGSIDE WITH ‘KAREEM ABD ALAZIZ & AHMED EZZ’.. THAT’S WHAT WE CALLED STRADOM AND WHY WE CALLED HIM MEGASTAR.”

The cameo instantly triggered a flood of fan reactions online. “Never had we imagined we would see #SalmanKhan in such an international movie! He is holding the character perfectly,” one fan wrote. Another commented, “#SalmanKhan’s Baap Level Cameo In 7 Dogs.”
Several others described the appearance as a full-blown crowd moment. “Salman Khan Cameo In 7 Dogs Movie, Absolute Gossebumps. Paisa Wasool Cameo,” read one post. Another fan wrote, “GOOSEBUMPS OVERLOAD. #SalmanKhan Entry in #7Dogs is PURE MASS DESTRUCTION.”
“One Entry = Full Theatre Blast. Paisa Vasool Cameo of the Year,” another user posted, while one reaction read, “7 Dogs. Endless chaos. Then one man arrived and turned the whole atmosphere into a mass celebration. That’s the difference between a star and a Megastar.” Another fan summed it up with, “Pure Mass. Pure Goosebumps.”
Directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, the duo known globally for the Bad Boys franchise, 7 Dogs is mounted on a large scale and backed by Saudi Arabia. The action thriller follows two men from completely different worlds who are forced to work together during a dangerous international crisis.
Ahmed Ezz plays an Interpol officer, while Karim Abdel Aziz essays the role of a feared crime boss. Their paths collide after the rise of a weaponised narcotic that threatens the stability of the Middle East.
The film also stars Sanjay Dutt and Monica Bellucci and is scheduled to release in India on May 28.
Meanwhile, Salman Khan has a packed slate ahead. The actor will next be seen in Maatrubhumi, a project that has reportedly undergone major changes in recent months. Until March, the film was being referred to as Battle of Galwan and was believed to be inspired by the Galwan Valley clash between Indian and Chinese forces. However, the makers have now changed the title and reportedly removed references to both China and Galwan Valley, alongside carrying out significant reshoots.
Produced by Salma Khan under Salman Khan Films and directed by Apoorva Lakhia, Maatrubhumi stars Salman as an Indian Army Colonel alongside Chitrangda Singh. The film is yet to receive an official release date.
Apart from that, Salman has also locked Eid 2027 for another big project with Nayanthara. Tentatively titled SVC63, the film will be directed by Vamshi Paidipally.
The actor was last seen making a cameo as Jiva Mahala in Raja Shivaji, co-starring Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia Deshmukh, with fans praising his intense warrior look in the film.
