mark. He completed his half-century by hitting Jacob Duffy for a four on the fifth ball of the 13th over of India’s innings in the 216-run chase.
The left-handed batter from Mumbai has hammered two fours and six sixes for Team India so far in the ongoing match, and his super show with the bat has kept India alive in the game.
The 15-ball fifty by Dube in Vizag is third fastest half-century by in T20Is by an Indian batter.
The record of scoring the fastest 50 for India in T20Is is in the name of Yuvraj Singh. Yuvraj needed only 12 balls to score a half-century against England in Durban on September 19, 2007.
He is followed by Abhishek Sharma, who scored 50 in 14 balls against the Kiwis in Guwahati on January 25, 2026.
