Aviva Baig Accompanied Raihan Vadra To Priyanka Gandhi’s Wayanad Rally, Old Video Surfaces

Aviva Baig had accompanied Raihan Vadra to a Congress rally in Wayanad last year, where his mother, party leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, was addressing workers and supporters as part of the bypoll campaign.

A video from the event, now resurfacing on social media, shows the couple standing quietly together among the crowd while the rally was underway.

According to a post shared by an X user, the video dates back to the Wayanad bypoll campaign, during which Raihan Vadra maintained a low profile despite the political significance of the event.

In the visuals, he is seen standing beside Aviva Baig, without seeking attention or engaging with the media present at the venue.

Raihan Vadra has always preferred to stay away from politics and live a normal and private life.

The Wayanad rally was part of Priyanka Gandhi Vadra’s campaign ahead of the Lok Sabha bypoll held in November 2024.

The seat had been vacated by Rahul Gandhi after he chose to retain Rae Bareli.

Making her electoral debut, Priyanka Gandhi went on to secure a decisive victory in Wayanad, winning by a margin of over 4.1 lakh votes.

She polled more than 6.2 lakh votes, defeating CPI candidate Sathyan Mokeri and BJP’s Navya Haridas, and surpassing Rahul Gandhi’s earlier winning margin from the constituency.

Raihan Vadra recently got engaged to Aviva Baig, his girlfriend of seven years.

Aviva Baig is based in Delhi and comes from a family that has long shared close social ties with the Vadras.

Her mother, Nandita Baig, is said to have been friends with Priyanka Gandhi Vadra for several years and reportedly worked on the interior design of the Congress headquarters, Indira Bhawan.

Other reports have noted that Aviva Baig has a background in media, design, and photography.

She is the co-founder of Atelier 11, a photography and production studio, and has showcased her work at several art exhibitions.

She is also a former national-level football player and has worked across various media and communications roles.

Raihan Vadra, 25, has largely remained away from active politics.

Though he has occasionally been seen at political events involving his family, he has consistently avoided public attention and media interaction.

Professionally, he is an installation and visual artist with a strong interest in photography, particularly travel and nature, and has held solo exhibitions for his work.
