De De Pyaar De 2 Day 1: Ajay Devgn, Rakul Preet Singh’s Film Earns Over Rs 8 Crore

Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh’s De De Pyaar De 2 has finally hit theaters and is getting positive reviews from audiences. The first installment, released in 2019, had done well setting a path for the sequel

to shine as well. Early ticket sales reports suggested that the picture will have a solid opening and the first day collection proved this.

As per Sacnilk.com, the film has earned Rs 8.50 crore. The film has a 14.05 per cent occupancy on Friday with night shows recording the highest footfall (25.26 per cent) followed by evening shows (12.80 per cent). Afternoon shows had a footfall of about 10.66 per cent and Morning Shows had 7.46 per cent.

De De Pyaar De 2 – Storyline

De De Pyaar De 2 continues Ashish and Ayesha’s tale from where the first film left off in 2019. The sequel follows Ashish as he approaches Ayesha’s parents to seek her hand in marriage. Although her parents first try to be understanding of the couple’s significant age difference, they are surprised to learn that Ashish is the same age as Ayesha’s father. The trailer also features a nice young man around Ayesha’s age. Her parents planted this concept in an attempt to disrupt her relationship with Ashish. Anshul Sharma directs De De Pyaar De 2, which stars R Madhavan, Gautami Kapoor, Jaaved Jaaferi and Meezaan Jafri.

De De Pyaar De 2 – Runtime

De De Pyaar De 2 has been approved by the Central Board of Film Certification. Bollywood Hungama claimed that the film had earned a U/A 13+ certificate. The CBFC Examining Committee approved the film in its entirety, with no adjustments requested. The final runtime is 147.10 minutes, or nearly 2 hours, 27 minutes and 10 seconds.

Rakul Preet Singh last appeared as Antara Khanna in Mere Husband Ki Biwi, opposite Bhumi Pednekar and Arjun Kapoor. Ajay Devgn has already had a busy year, starring in three films: Raid 2, Son of Sardaar 2 and Azaad. He also produced the film Maa.
