The Kardashian sisters are proving that even with billionaire status, they aren’t quite ready for a career in acrobatics. On Monday, Feb. 9, Kim Kardashian took to Instagram to document a chaotic night of sisterly bonding as she, Khloé Kardashian, and Kylie Jenner attempted the viral “Titanic Challenge.” The stunt, inspired by the iconic bow scene from the 1997 blockbuster, requires one person to roll onto their partner’s thighs and stand upright. However, for the Skims founder and her siblings, the result was less Jack and Rose and more total comedy of errors.
Sisterly Bonding and Hilarious Fails
The video began with Kylie, 28, teasing the camera: “We’re trying some tricks tonight.” Set to the soaring notes of Céline Dion’s “My Heart Will Go On,” the clip transitioned from a successful
example of the challenge to the reality of the Kardashian living room. Kim, 45, and Khloé, 41, were seen collapsed in fits of laughter as they struggled with the physics of the move.
“Roll into it, go go,” Kylie instructed from the sidelines, while a determined Khloé told a giggling Kim, “I will pull you.” After several failed tries that resulted in Kim being dragged across the floor by her arms, Kylie stepped in to try the maneuver with Khloé. The younger sister quickly realized the difficulty, laughing: “There’s no way, I can’t even.” Kim, thoroughly enjoying the struggle, agreed, “See it’s not as easy… there’s no way.”
While the sisters’ antics were the main draw, eagle-eyed fans were more interested in the background noise. During Kim and Khloé’s most successful attempt, a distinct British voice could be heard coaching the pair. “Push away,” the voice urged, which many followers identified as seven-time F1 World Champion Lewis Hamilton.
The comments section immediately exploded with theories. “We all heard Lewis Hamilton’s voice in the background right? 🙂,” one fan noted, while another asked, “am I the only one who can hear lewis’s laugh?” The voiceover appearance comes just 24 hours after the rumored couple was spotted together at Super Bowl LX. According to a source for PEOPLE, the two turned the big game into a high-profile date night: “they were both going to the game anyway,” the insider noted.
Despite failing to master the pose, the night ended on a high note with the sisters huddled on the floor. “I’m so happy for us,” Khloé joked, while Kim captioned the post, “I love us.”
