At least four people died and nine got injured after a BEST bus collided with pedestrians in Mumbai’s Bhandup. As per a statement by BMC, the incident took place on Monday at around 10:05 pm. Ambulances,
along with Mumbai Fire Brigade, BEST staff were mobilised.
As per Mumbai police, the BEST bus driver has been taken into custody and the probe is underway. The incident took place at busy Station Road in suburban Bhandup. The injured persons were admitted to a nearby hospital.
Chaos and panic spread in the area after the incident and several videos from the site are now being shared on social media.
