Kareena Kapoor and Prithviraj Sukumaran will soon be seen together in Daayra. Their film has officially entered its final shooting schedule, and Meghna Gulzar shared a major update. In September this year, the makers shared a first look featuring Kareena Kapoor Khan and Prithviraj.

Meghna Gulzar took to her Instagram handle and shared an update with a photo of a car with packed things. “Final Schedule. Here we go Team #daayra” read the caption. Fans also commented. One of the fans wrote, “All the best…it was a great experience working with you and your team”. Another wrote, “To be on a set everyday what a blessing”.

the 45-year-old posted a picture teasing about the movie’s shooting locations. Taking to her Instagram stories, Kareena Kapoor Khan shared a mirror selfie, alongside an intriguing update about her upcoming movie, Daayara. The actress was seen dressed in comfy attire, including a grey sweatshirt and a pair of loose-fitting denim pants. Below the picture, she wrote, “@meghnagulzar taking me from Khalapur to Bhiwandi to Birar…Quite enjoying the ride.”

Kareena Kapoor Khan Announced Her 68th Film

In September this year, Kareena Kapoor Khan shared the first look video of her upcoming project alongside Prithviraj Sukumaran and Meghna Gulzar. It featured an array of behind-the-scenes from their shoot schedules – from a sneak peek at the meticulously written script to many other shots. Alongside this, the actress wrote, “Day 1, 68th film, Daayra with the most amazing @meghnagulzar and @therealprithvi …Send love and blessings.” The video received immense love from her fans and industry friends, including Neha Dhupia, Ali Fazal, and others.

Khan also posted a few postcards from her humble meeting with the legendary Gulzar Sahab at the opening puja ceremony of her film. “One for the books. Meeting Gulzar saab chalo for me sab kuch ho gaya,” read her caption.

Meghna Gulzar Revealed Daayara Will Cross The Lines Of Law And Justice

Daayara is described as a gritty exploration of crime, punishment, and justice, with an intense focus on societal realities. The movie marks Gulzar’s next project after her 2023 film Sam Bahadur. While announcing the movie, the director posted a couple of pictures on Instagram, captured alongside the lead stars. Besides this, she wrote, “When the lines of Law and Justice cross. Thrilled to embark on DAAYRA with Kareena Kapoor Khan and Prithviraj Sukumaran. A much-anticipated journey with Junglee Pictures and my co-writers Yash Keswani and Sima Agarwal.”

Kareena Kapoor Khan’s Other Upcoming Projects

Besides Daayara, scheduled for release in 2026, she reportedly has a few other projects in her pipeline. The list includes Takht, a large-scale historical drama directed by Karan Johar, in which she will play Jahanara Begum; an untitled film with Rahul Dholakia; and another pan-India film to mark her 25th year in the industry. More recently, she was seen in the Netflix documentary Dining With The Kapoors.
