Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain, are returning to Laughter Chefs season 3 along with some of the other OG contestants. In their latest interview, the duo talked candidly about their experience on the show and how much they miss being a part of it. Interestingly, they also reacted to comments suggesting the show is scripted.
Speaking to Etimes about whether Laughter Chefs is scripted, Ankita said, “Not even one percent of the show is scripted. Trolling is their job, and ours is to ignore it. People say this about every reality show. Even during Bigg Boss, they claimed it was scripted, which is not true at all. We cook with a lot of hard work. If things were planned, the food would always turn out perfect—but that doesn’t happen. Our dishes get
burnt, they get spoiled.”
Moreover, the duo were missing at the start of this season and when asked if they watched the season so far Ankita replied, “Honestly, I didn’t watch the episodes because I was crying a lot. I didn’t feel like watching them then, and even now I don’t want to.”
Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain ON Working With the Team
Vicky Jain also shared about how the cast and crew are quite happy working together. He said, “There’s no shooting vibe on this set at all. Everyone is just friends meeting each other. It feels like we haven’t caught up in a long time, so we keep talking, laughing, and having fun without even getting tired. The energy and atmosphere are amazing. That’s why this show doesn’t just work for me—it’s very close to my heart, and it’s genuinely fun to shoot.”
Laughter Chefs 3 Gets Revamped
The return of the legendary SAVAN team—Sudesh Lehri, Ankita Lokhande, Vicky Jain, Arjun Bijlani and Nia Sharma—completely alters the game as the fierce contest between Team Kaanta and Team Chhurri draws to a close. They bring fresh energy, touching moments and enormous laughter to an already thrilling season.
The creators unexpectedly ended the team concept mid-season in Laughter Chefs Season 3. When Gurmeet Choudhary, Debina Bonnerjee, Vivian Dsena and Eisha Singh departed the show, this change occurred. Rumour has it that all five performers departed due to prior professional obligations and schedule conflicts. Isha has already started filming a new project, while Vivian is reportedly scheduled to make an appearance in another fictional show on Colours TV soon. According to reports, Gurmeet and Debina are also busy with other work-related obligations.
