Sophie Choudry On Early Days In Bollywood

In a candid chat with Hauterrfly, Sophie recalled when she entered Bollywood, hoping to build a successful music career. Expecting a transition into acting, she began meeting people with her mother by her side but the suggestions she received were unsettling. In her words, “Some people were lovely but others made remarks and suggestions I didn’t understand back then. My mom now jokes about it, recalling how people used to say I’d need to ‘adjust and compromise.’ At the time, we didn’t know what that really meant.”

Sophie Choudry’s Work Front

On the work front, Sophie was last seen in Dibakar Banerjee’s Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2. Her cameo appearance as a reality show judge in the film sent fans into a frenzy. Alongside Sophie were Paritosh Tiwari, Abhinav Singh, Bonita Rajpurohit and Swaroopa Ghosh, among others.

Her last released song, Lips, also won the hearts of her fans. Composed by Raahi, the song also included a recreation of the iconic melody Hothon Pe Aisi Baat. It was originally composed by SD Burman. The energetic music video featured Sophie alongside Freddy Daruwala and surpassed 50 lakh views on YouTube.
