Vivek Oberoi is now a popular actor. Son of veteran star Suresh Oberoi, Vivek made his acting debut in 2002, but his struggle to make his name began long ago. In a recent interview, Vivek Oberoi spoke
about how he once assisted Farah Khan, cleaned rehearsal rooms, and even served tea to the dancers because he didn’t reveal who his father was.
In an interview with Mashable India, Vivek opened up about the time he assisted Farah and revealed, “To train, I used to assist Farah for a long time. I started by cleaning the rehearsal rooms and bringing tea to all the dancers, and from there I went up. I never told anybody who my dad was. I kept that out.”
Vivek is currently on a promotional spree with his upcoming film Mastiii 4, releasing in theatres next week. In the same interview, Vivek shared a hilarious prank he, along with the rest of the cast, pulled on Aftab Shivdasani. He shared, “Aftab had bought his new Mercedes when we were shooting for Masti, aur hum logo ne bakra kiya tha iska. We stole his car keys and parked it somewhere else, two lanes behind where Aftab had parked it. Then we quietly kept the key near Aftab, and when he came out… His expressions… his blood pressure just dropped. He told us not to prank him with his car.”
About Mastiii 4
Directed by Milap Zaveri, Mastiii 4 also stars Ruhii Singh, Shreya Sharma, Elnaaz Norouzi, Shaad Randhawa, Nishant Singh Malkani, and Natalia Janoszek. The film is scheduled to release on November 21, 2025.
The trailer shows the actors landing themselves in outrageous situations, setting off a chain of mishaps and confusion. It’s loud, silly, sometimes nonsensical, and intentionally so. Mastiii 4 doubles down on the comedy, making a virtue of no logic and maximum laughter, classic hallmarks of Bollywood’s madcap era. The film’s upbeat, energetic pace and wild ensemble scenes signal a return to old-school, family-friendly big-screen comedies built for weekend escapes and group outings.
The Masti franchise began in 2004, with the first film turning into a box-office hit. Its sequel, Grand Masti (2013), enjoyed similar commercial success. The third instalment, Great Grand Masti (2016), however, underperformed following an online leak prior to its release.
