Ranveer Singh has found himself at the center of attention following the controversy surrounding his alleged exit from Farhan Akhtar’s Don 3. The discussion gained further momentum after the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) weighed in on the matter. Amid the ongoing buzz, comedian Tanmay Bhat appeared to make a playful yet pointed remark about the situation, with many interpreting it as a subtle jab at Ranveer and hinting at his “unprofessional” behaviour.
Varun Dhawan, who is earning praises for his film Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, recently featured in a video on Tanmay Bhat’s YouTube channel alongside comedians Rohan Joshi, Piyush Sharma, and Zakir Khan. During one of the light-hearted conversations in the episode, Tanmay seemingly
slipped in a subtle dig that many believe was aimed at Ranveer Singh. His remark appeared to allude to the ongoing discussions surrounding the actor’s reported exit from Don 3, adding fuel to the chatter online.
In the viral video, Tanmay can be heard saying, “Varun, anyone who has ever worked with you has always said that despite being a big Bollywood star, you’re still like professional, committed, reliable. Which is, incidentally, exactly the kind of actor that Farhan Akhtar is looking for right now. I don’t know, maybe you should…” Soon after he made the remark, it left everyone in splits. One of the comedians joked, “Don No 1,” while another one said, “Main Tera Don.” Varun was seen repeating “Main Tera Don” and laughing out loud.
Tanmay Bhatt exposed Ranveer Singh
Everyone in the industry is aware that Ranveer Singh is not professionally committed or reliable. He leaned on Farhan Akhtar when he was delivering flops and then ditched him after Dhurandhar’s success. Even Varun Dhawan was laughing. https://t.co/x1dWynMsLG pic.twitter.com/RVGaYFRalQ

The clip soon went viral across social media platforms, prompting widespread speculation among netizens. While some viewers felt Tanmay was indirectly questioning Ranveer’s professionalism and commitment, others believed the comedian was merely making a light-hearted reference to the much-talked-about Don 3 row and the reported differences between the actor and Farhan Akhtar.
Meanwhile, Varun’s latest film Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona also features Mrunal Thakur and Pooja Hegde in key roles. It marked David Dhawan’s last film as a director.
