Tickets for the 2026 Women’s Premier League (WPL) matches in Navi Mumbai and Vadodara will be available for purchase starting from December 26 at 6 PM IST, announced the Board of Control for Cricket in India
(BCCI) on Thursday.
The WPL 2026 will be held at two venues: DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai and BCA Stadium in Vadodara.
“The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has named District as the official ticketing agency for the fourth edition of the exciting TATA WPL. Tickets can be purchased from the official WPL website, WPL app on Android and iOS, and also on the District website,” further said the BCCI.
When Does WPL Start?
The tournament kicks off on January 9 with defending champions Mumbai Indians, led by Harmanpreet Kaur, hosting the 2024 winners, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, captained by Smriti Mandhana. Navi Mumbai will host 11 matches until January 17 before the tournament moves to Vadodara for the remaining 11 fixtures, including the playoffs.
The Vadodara leg will begin with Gujarat Giants facing RCB, followed by a rematch of the 2025 final between Delhi Capitals, led by Jemimah Rodrigues, and Mumbai Indians. After the league stage concludes on February 1, the Eliminator between the second and third-placed teams will take place on February 3. The top team will advance directly to the final on February 5.
For the first time, the WPL is scheduled in the January-February window to avoid clashing with major women’s international cricket fixtures, following three seasons in the February-March slot.
Two-time champions Mumbai Indians are the defending champions, while Royal Challengers Bengaluru are the only other team to have won the WPL title. Delhi Capitals have finished as runners-up three times, while Gujarat Giants and UP Warriorz are yet to reach a final.
The 2026 season marks the fourth edition of the Women’s Premier League, which began in 2023. The Mumbai Indians Women are the most successful team with two titles in three years, and Royal Challengers Bengaluru is the other team to have won the WPL title.
