Gurugram, Aug 28 (PTI) In view of the flash flood in Nepal, the Gurugram district administration has issued a helpline number and urged people to share information about Gurugram residents who have gone missing or are unreachable following the calamity.
The information can be provided via Dial-112, the DC Camp Office phone number (0124-2320508) and the email address ctmgrg@hry.nic.in.
“The public is requested to share the concerned person’s name, residential address in Gurugram, contact number, and details regarding their presence in Nepal or any other available information related to the incident,” an official said.
Uttam Singh, deputy commissioner and chairperson of the District Disaster Management Authority, said that if information is received
through family, acquaintances, friends, or any other source about an individual residing in Gurugram who has gone missing or is unreachable following the natural disaster in Nepal, the administration should be informed.
The official said the sharing of any such information with the authorities will help the search for the missing persons and the process to provide assistance to their families. PTI COR AMJ AMJ
