A video of Riddhima Kapoor Sahni’s daughter Samara, had gone viral from Aadar Jain and Alekha Advani’s marriage. In the video, Samara was looking a bit upset while posing for the paparazzi, but what was the real scoop? Farah Khan decided to get it out for all of us. Farah Khan, known for her vlogs with cook Dilip, visited Ranbir Kapoor’s sister, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, at her luxurious Delhi home, where she dug out the real gossip behind the viral video.
While talking to Farah Khan, Riddhima explained, “Samara ka kya hai na, ki, ‘Mein agar camera mein dekhungi, toh I am just going to give like a blue steel look.’ So, I told her that it looks like you are angry.” Samara, who was also seen in Farah’s video, clarified that she was simply giving a resting
face. While reacting to how people misinterpreted her video, the little girl said, “Let a girl have a resting face. It’s not a problem. It’s just a resting face.”
“Yeah, smiling is good. I mean… normalise having a resting face,” Samara told Riddhima while the latter talked about her pretty smile.
In the vlog, Farah also questioned Riddhima about Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s new house in Mumbai, and she replied, “I have a room there. I am going to be on my mother’s floor. So, there’s one room for me and Bharat, and one for Samara too. My mom wants to keep us close.”
Riddhima Kapoor Sahni’s Bollywood Debut
Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, the daughter of the late Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor, is a successful entrepreneur and jewellery designer. Having been away from the big screen world for years, she made her debut with the reality web series Bollywood Wives vs Fabulous Lives.
Next, she is set to surprise fans with her talent in her first feature film. What makes this project even more special? It will see her sharing screen space with her mother, Neetu Kapoor. The two wrapped up a 40-day shoot in the scenic town of Mashobra near Shimla earlier this year.
For Riddhima, shooting for her debut film was an emotional experience. In a chat with Times Of India, she said, “Mom and I live in different cities. But during the shoot, we lived under the same roof for over a month. We’d start our mornings with chai and breakfast, and go to set together. It was an emotional and joyful time. The last time we spent this much uninterrupted time together was when my daughter Samara was born. Even though we live apart, we’re in touch every day.”
