Amitabh Bachchan is celebrating his 83rd birthday today, and on this special day, the actor decided to break his ritual. Instead of his usual Sunday wave, he came out to greet fans gathered outside his residence

on Saturday evening, which also happens to be his 83rd birthday.

In the videos and pictures coming out,Big B can be seen waving at his fans as they gathered in full capacity to wish their ultimate superstar on his special day. The video showing him stepping out of his house has him looking absolutely stylish as he wore a bright, eye-catching jacket in shades of yellow and orange, featuring intricate patterns that added a vibrant touch to his look. The statement jacket was paired with a classic white kurta-pyjama, creating the perfect balance between traditional elegance and modern flair.

The recent promo from an episode of KBC shows the father-son duo meeting Big B and joining him on the hot seat to celebrate the actor’s 83rd birthday.

In the clip shared, Amitabh Bachchan is seen cutting a delicious cake as he celebrates his special day in the presence of Farhan and Javed. As Farhan and Javed sit on the hot seats, Amitabh is later seen recreating his iconic dialogue from Zanjeer: “Jab tak baithne ko na kaha jaaye, khade raho. Yeh police thana hai, tumhare baap ka ghar nahi.” (Until you’re told to sit, keep standing. This is a police station, not your father’s house.)

What’s Next For Big B?

The Bollywood megastar is known for roles that speak volumes about his versatility. From making his debut in the 1969 film Saat Hindustani as a freedom fighter to slipping into the shoes of a futuristic rebel in the 2024 sci-fi movie Kalki 2898 AD, Big B has indeed come a long way in his career.

The legendary actor was last seen on screen in Rajinikanth’s Vettaiyan, alongside Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, and Ritika Singh, among others. The film was released theatrically in October last year. As of now, he also has Ribhu Dasgupta’s Section 84, featuring Diana Penty and Nimrat Kaur, in the pipeline. He will lend his voice as narrator in the upcoming film 120 Bahadur, featuring Farhan Akhtar. Currently, Big B is hosting the 17th season of the quiz-based reality TV show Kaun Banega Crorepati.
