Bengaluru CEO Rides Scooty Inside Office To Celebrate 'Amazing Quarter'; Internet Isn't Impressed, Calls Company 'Lutera'

A viral video of a Bengaluru-based CEO riding a scooty through his office to celebrate what was described as an “amazing quarter” has gone viral on social media, drawing both amusement and criticism from internet users.

The clip was shared on X by the account Indian Tech & Infra, which claimed the celebration took place at NoBroker, the Bengaluru-headquartered proptech company known for its brokerage-free property platform. The company connects property owners directly with tenants and buyers, aiming to eliminate the need for traditional brokers.

In the viral video, the CEO can be seen riding a scooty through the office premises while employees cheer him on. The post described the moment as a celebration of the company’s successful quarter, and

it quickly gained traction across the platform.

However, instead of focusing solely on the celebratory gesture, many users used the opportunity to share their experiences and opinions about the company, with several comments criticising its services and customer support.

One user wrote, “@nobrokercom @NoBrokerCare gives so much torture for just one single act of their customer giving their phone number. Even their community management app is infested with so much dark patterns. We are just choiceless pathetic users.”

Another user commented, “Worst experience with this company. This feels like a fraud. They lure customers with false promises, take your money, and then refuse to honor what they agreed to including denying refunds they had promised beforehand. no ethics, no accountability.”

Sharing a personal allegation, a third user claimed, “Company is a fraud . My sis was part of that company . She was one of the best performers in the category but they didn’t pay for her work . They will never succeed.”

Not every reaction was critical. One user explained the context behind the video, writing, “A scooter was awarded to a top-performing employee, with the CEO riding it through the office before handing it over. It’s called a scooty 🛵bonus 💙”

Several others continued to question the company’s practices. One comment read, “Their entire business model is to make refunds difficult. Working well I guess.”

Another user posted a sarcastic remark, saying, “Look, we can’t offer three months of severance pay… but if you hold on tight, CEO can give you a free ride to the metro station.”
