India men’s cricket team will face West Indies in the third and final ODI of the three-match series on Saturday, October 3, at the PCA International Cricket Stadium, Ground A, in New Chandigarh. India have already sealed the series by winning the first two matches, and on Saturday, the hosts will look to secure another big win and complete a series whitewash against the Men in Maroon.
Captain Shubman Gill will lead India at his home ground and will be eager to come up with another big knock in the final ODI. He scored 110 runs in the first ODI and remained unbeaten on 223 in the second match. Apart from Gill, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma have also scored a century each in the ongoing home series, and they will also look to make another big contribution
in New Chandigarh.
West Indies, on the other hand, will aim to secure a consolation win in the third ODI and avoid a series whitewash.
The West Indies batters have impressed with their performances so far, but their bowlers have managed to take only four wickets across the two matches. The likes of Alzarri Joseph, Shamar Joseph and Jayden Seales will need to come up with a big performance in the third ODI if West Indies are to challenge the hosts.
