The lady, named Viktoriia Chakraborty, who has been living in India for over eight years, shared a clip on Instagram where she presented a before-and-after perspective about her life as she married into an Indian household.

From traditional dressing

style, Indian food to enjoying the local festivals, she noted that simple modifications had brought so much ‘joy and belonging’ to her life.

In the caption, Viktoriia shared that she now loves to wear a Saree, the traditional Indian outfit. “Saree has slowly become part of my wardrobe, I can’t imagine attending a wedding or other function without it,” she wrote.

Adding to this, Viktoriia also noted that she loves the Indian way of eating food with hands. She continued, “Eating traditional food with hands feels so natural now (and yes, it really tastes better that way.”

Lastly, she revealed, “Festivals have become one of my favourite times of the year, the colors, lights, and celebrations always make me feel at home.”

She concluded the post writing, “Life doesn’t change overnight, but these small things add so much joy and belonging.”
