Delhi, Jul 21 (PTI) Air India on Tuesday said it has chosen the new terminal T6 at the John F Kennedy International Airport in New York for its operations, starting from 2028.
Currently, Air India operates flights from Terminal 4 (T4) at the JFK airport.
T6 will open in two phases, with the first set of gates opening in 2026 and the remaining gates and terminal completion expected by 2028, according to a release.
The airline will also launch its Maharaja Lounge at T6, the release said.
At present, Air India operates flights to Delhi and Mumbai with A350 and B777 planes from T4 and those will continue till the airline’s planned move to T6 in 2028. PTI RAM TRB
