The visit to Bondi Beach was part of the couple’s trip to Australia, which began on April 14. The trip included a series of private, business and philanthropic engagements across cities including Melbourne and Sydney. During their stop at Bondi Beach, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle met volunteer first responders at the Bondi Surf Bathers’ Life Saving Club. The meeting was intended to show support for the organisation following a December 2025 terror attack targeting the Jewish community in the area. The Australia visit marked the couple’s first time in the country since their official royal tour in October 2018.
