Daboo Malik Reacts To Son Amaal Mallik's Crush, Says Every Composer Needs An ‘Imaginary’ Love Story

On Bigg Boss 19, Amaal Mallik confessed that he has a crush on a girl, though it is unclear if she reciprocates his feelings. His confession has been widely discussed by the housemates, as well as fans outside. Now, his father Daboo Malik was asked whether he knows who Amaal is talking about. He said that he is unaware about this girl, but said he believes every creative person has an ‘invisible’ or ‘imaginary’ love story that fuels their work. He added that he is convinced Amaal is talking about this imaginary love story in his new track titled ‘Kyun Mujhse Door Tha’, which was released a few days ago.

He further said that he believes Amaal is talking to that ‘invisible’ person in his new song. “Toh I think he is talking to that invisible person, jo uski man ghadat kahaani hai, uske man mein hai. I think usi love story ke basis pe ye gaana ‘Kyun Mujhse Door’ bana hai. (I think he is talking to that invisible person, the story he has crafted in his mind. I believe this love story is the basis for the song ‘Kyun Mujhse Door’).”

A few days ago, Armaan Malik took to X (formerly Twitter) to share the link of Amaal’s new song titled Kyun Mujhse Door Tha. Sung and composed by Amaal, the lyrics have been penned by Kunaal Verma. Sharing the song link, Armaan wrote, “A special gift from our family to all the #Amaalians, on behalf of @AmaalMallik whose voice and music you’ve all been missing and waiting to hear again! Give #KyunMujhseDoorTha all your love.”

Meanwhile, Armaan also shared the song on his Instagram stories and wrote a note praising Amaal. “Amaal’s genius is undeniable and we as a family are beyond thrilled to bring this song to life for his devoted fans who’ve been eagerly awaiting new music from him,” read the note.
