The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the provisional answer key for the NEET UG 2026 re-exam soon. It is likely to be out by this month. Candidates who appeared for the re-exam will be able download the answer key from the official website, neet.nta.nic.in, and estimate their scores by comparing their responses, once released.

The NTA will also upload the scanned OMR sheets of candidates on the website along with the provisional answer key. As per the marking scheme, four marks will be awarded for each correct answer, while one mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer. No marks will be awarded for unanswered questions. Using

this marking scheme and the response sheets, students can estimate their potential scores.

The re-exam was held on June 21 for over 20 lakh students.

How To Download NEET UG Answer Key?

— First, visit the official website neet.nta.nic.in.

— Click on the link “NEET UG 2026 Provisional Answer Key for June 21 exam” on the homepage.

— Enter your Application Number and Password/Date of Birth.

— Enter the Security Pin displayed on the screen and log in.

— After logging in, the provisional answer key will appear on the screen.

— Download the answer key and take a printout for future reference.

If a candidate wishes to file an objection, they will have to upload supporting documents to substantiate their claim. All objections will be reviewed by an expert committee, after which the final answer key will be released.
