Bengal Guv condoles loss of lives in gas leak at Tamil Nadu factory

Jun 22 (PTI) West Bengal Governor RN Ravi on Monday expressed grief over the loss of lives in the ammonia gas leak in Tamil Nadu’s Tiruvallur district.

In a statement issued by the Lok Bhavan, Ravi said, “Deeply pained by the loss of precious lives in the tragic incident in Tiruvallur district, Tamil Nadu. My deepest condolences to the bereaved families and prayers for the speedy recovery of the injured.” He also prayed for the early recovery of those injured in the incident.

Two women died, and 62 others were affected following the gas leak at a factory on Sunday. PTI SCH SOM
