Superstar Rajinikanth has taken a break from his busy schedule to embark on a spiritual journey to the Himalayas. Several pictures of the superstar enjoying a simple life away from the chaos with his close
friends have surfaced on social media. The pictures show Rajinikanth relaxing in the lap of nature, away from the glitz and glamour of stardom.
On Saturday, Rajinikanth visited Swami Dayananda Ashram in Rishikesh and later took time out to meditate along the banks of the Ganga and participate in the Ganga Aarti. The pictures that have surfaced on social media show the actor dressed in simple white clothes, eating food from a pattal (disposable leaf plate). Another picture shows him talking to a group of men at what appears to be an ashram.

As soon as these pictures went viral, fans started reacting to them. One wrote, “He is something different… simply amazing.” “Superstar #Rajinikanth’s latest clicks from his spiritual journey to the Himalayas!!” a fan wrote while sharing pictures of the superstar. A post read, “Rajinikanth’s simplicity is truly remarkable. This photo, which has gone viral on social media, is said to be from a religious pilgrimage he’s currently on. Rajinikanth was last seen in the action-packed film Coolie. The film, which was released on August 14, marks Rajinikanth’s 171st film as a lead actor.
