Legendary singer Asha Bhosle, who is no more with us, has sung many songs that will forever remain in our minds. She was known for versatility. However, she once recalled recording her very first song at the age of 10. The iconic singer shared how the experience was both nerve-wracking and life-changing.
In an old conversation at The Republic Bharat, the singer revealed she was trembling while recording the song. “When I recorded my first song, I was 10 years old. I had to sing this song standing in front of the mic and I was trembling at that time, because I did not know anything then. My father had recorded his songs. Then when I sang the first song, I felt that I can sing. Didi does not only sing, I can also sing,” Bhosle was quoted saying.
She sang her first song Chala Chala Nav Bala in the Marathi film Majha Bala in 1943.
