For Indian students dreaming beyond the home country, a new generation of scholarships is turning global classrooms into real possibilities, starting as early as Classes 11 and 12.
Quality education has always been seen as the bridge to opportunity. Over the years, this belief has only grown stronger as international curriculum, global exposure, and cross-cultural learning have become important for success. Yet, access to world-class schooling, especially abroad, often comes with financial barriers.
By rewarding merit, potential, and consistency, these scholarships are enabling deserving students to study in premium international environments. Among the institutions leading this change is the Global Schools Group, through its flagship Global Citizen
Scholarship.
22-Year-Old Legacy of World-Class Education
Established over two decades ago, the Global Schools group has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality K-12 education across borders. With a 22-year legacy, GSG has consistently focused on blending academic excellence with global citizenship.
The group professionally owns and manages a network of 12 international school brands, ensuring uniform standards and student-centric learning across all campuses.
Global Network For Schools
The group operates more than 65 campuses across 12 countries, including India, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, South Korea, Cambodia, Saudi Arabia, the Philippines, and the United Kingdom.
To maintain quality across its campuses, the Group uses its proprietary 7S Analysis metric, which evaluates parameters such as overall school performance, subject coverage, subject teachers, and other academic statistics. This structured evaluation ensures consistency while allowing flexibility to cater to regional contexts.
What’s Special About The Global Citizen Scholarship
One of the most impactful initiatives supported by the Global Schools Foundation is the Global Citizen Scholarship (GCS). Designed for international students, including Indian learners, the scholarships act as a stepping stone toward global education.
The Global Citizen Scholarship offers students an opportunity to complete grades 11 and 12 at select GSG campuses abroad. The scholarship tenure is two years, covering the crucial senior secondary phase that often determines university admissions.
Eligibility Criteria: Who Can Apply?
The scholarship is open to students from multiple educational boards, provided they demonstrate strong and consistent academic performance. The scholarship applies to education at the senior level (grades 11 and 12), and the duration is 2 years.

What Are Students Gaining?
The scholarship offers more than financial aid for Indian students. Eligible candidates can choose to study outside India, spending their classes 11 and 12 at international GSG campuses. This early exposure to global education systems helps students adapt seamlessly to international universities later.
Students who fit the criteria for the scholarship benefit from internationally trained faculty, advanced learning infrastructure, globally recognised curricula, and multicultural peer interaction. Such exposure also encourages independent thinking, global awareness and adaptability.
The experience also strengthens university applications, particularly for reputed institutions and competitive undergraduate programs worldwide, where international schooling is often viewed as a strong differentiator.

- Step 1: Application Submission- Students begin by submitting the online scholarship application form.
- Step 1A: Documentation Upload- Applicants must upload all required documents, including academic records from the past two years.

The Road Ahead
