Bhopal district in-charge minister Chaitanya Kashyap recently visited Rajgarh, Madhya Pradesh, to inaugurate an organic and natural market set up by the Agriculture Department at the Khilchipur checkpoint. The visit was also attended by Minister Narayan Singh Pawar, Minister Gotam Tetwal, local MLAs, and party workers.
After cutting the inauguration ribbon, the ministers proceeded to inspect the stalls at the newly established organic market. During this inspection, an unexpected moment involving Minister Gotam Tetwal caught public attention and soon became a talking point on social media.
Gautam Tetwal Munched On Various Vegetables And Fruits
As he walked through the market, Minister Tetwal picked up a radish from a vegetable stall and began eating
it without stopping. Moments later, he grabbed the hand of a worker walking ahead of him and said, “Move aside…”
Reason? His attention shifted to a nearby fruit stall. He quickly rushed and grabbed two fresh guavas and started eating them with both hands while continuing his walk. The scene prompted laughter from people present at the market, while the minister appeared relaxed and cheerful.
‘Ek Kilo Karyaalay Lekar Aana’
The moment didn’t end there. Upon noticing raw turmeric at another stall, Minister Tetwal stopped to enquire about it. The shopkeeper informed him that the turmeric was completely organic, after which the minister instructed him, “Ek kilo karyaalay lekar aana” (Bring one kilo to the office).
pic.twitter.com/cg98P19Z4y— Arvind Sharma (@sarviind) December 16, 2025
How Are X Users Responding?
The clip of the minister’s casual and carefree inspection quickly went viral on X (formerly Twitter), sparking a wave of reactions. While some users found the act amusing, others criticised the behaviour.
“Take proper action against these people. This is stupidity. Nothing else,” read a comment.
Another said, “These people have forgotten that the public has hired them for work, not made them kings.”
“People like the raw instinct of human beings even after they become ministers,” wrote a user.
An individual stated, “Aam logon mein saadagi nahin hai, balki cheezon ko apna ‘Sarkari hak’ samajhane ki pravrtti hai. (There is no simplicity among the public, but rather a tendency to consider things as their ‘government entitlement.’”
Minister Tetwal’s informal conduct during the inspection has since fueled debate online about public decorum expected from elected representatives.
