A Bengaluru resident shared a dashcam video online after his car was hit by a biker riding on the wrong side of the road. What started as a routine U-turn quickly turned into a shocking accident that left
the driver angry and frustrated over the consequences he now faces.
The video shows the driver slowly edging forward to take a U-turn when a biker, coming from the wrong direction, crashed head-on into his car. The impact knocked the rider off his bike, shattering parts of his helmet on the road. Fortunately, the biker was able to stand up soon after and walk back to his motorcycle.
Driver Shares Frustration
Posting the video on Reddit, the driver explained how the incident damaged his bumper and left him responsible for repairs despite not being at fault.
“I was inching forward for a U-turn and a wrong-way biker slammed into my car and damaged the bumper,” he wrote.
In his post, he expressed frustration at being left to deal with the fallout, adding, “The entitlement of wrong-way riders is absolutely infuriating.”

Mixed Reactions From Viewers
The video sparked debate among Reddit users. Many sided with the car driver, arguing the biker was at fault.
A user commented, “Brilliant. The biker deserved this, and I hope he pays for the damages.”
Another added that wrong-way driving has become too common on Indian roads and often puts innocent drivers at risk. Others, however, felt the driver could have handled the aftermath differently.
Some pointed out that even though the biker was clearly at fault, the driver should have at least checked if he was injured.
“You got lucky; either way, it would have been nice to see you get out of the car to at least ask him if he was okay,” a person noted.
