UGC NET December Result 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to declare the UGC NET December 2025 result soon. According to an announcement shared by the agency on social media platform X, the UGC NET 2025 result is likely to be released by February 4, 2026.
The result will be prepared based on the final answer key issued for the December session of the examination.
The UGC NET December 2025 exam was conducted from December 31, 2025 to January 7, 2026 across multiple shifts. Once declared, candidates will be able to check their results on the official website at ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
The UGC NET result determines the eligibility of Indian nationals for the ‘award of Junior Research Fellowship and appointment as Assistant Professor’, ‘appointment
as Assistant Professor and admission to PhD’, and ‘admission to PhD only’ in universities and colleges across the country. The NTA releases separate cut-off marks for Assistant Professor, JRF and PhD categories.
How To Check UGC NET 2025 Result?
Candidates can follow these steps to download their scorecards:
- Visit the official website at ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
- Click on the link titled ‘UGC NET Result December 2025’.
- Enter login details and submit.
- The result will appear on the screen.
After the declaration of results, UGC NET certificates for the December 2025 session will also be issued through the NTA website. Certificates will be provided for candidates qualifying for:
- Award of Junior Research Fellowship and appointment as Assistant Professor
- Appointment as Assistant Professor and admission to PhD
- Admission to PhD only
- Normalisation Process
