According to a press release, the show focuses not only on the scientific achievement but also on the emotional and mental strength of the people who carried the mission forward, even in the face of setbacks.
Makers and actors speak about the vision
Talking about the series, director Anant Singh said India’s lunar mission is a story of pride, ambition, and resilience. He shared that the soul of the series lies in the people behind the mission as much as in the mission itself. The team hopes the show allows audiences to experience both the historic achievement and the courage that powered it.
Nakuul Mehta said the honesty of the script deeply resonated with him. He explained that the series does not only celebrate success but also honours the grit required to return after failure. The actor added that portraying this emotional journey was a challenge that stayed with him long after filming ended.
Nakuul Mehta’s personal milestones
Beyond his professional work, Nakuul Mehta has also been in the spotlight for his personal journey. He and his wife Jankee Parekh are parents to Sufi and Rumi and co-host the podcast The Indian Parent Pod. The podcast explores real-life parenting struggles, emotional growth, and relationship changes, and has built a strong community online.
With Space Gen, Chandrayaan, Nakuul Mehta returns with a powerful story rooted in national pride, human resilience, and the spirit of never giving up.
