video from Delhi has surfaced online which shows two men performing stunts on a moving Mahindra Thar which eventually lost control and crashed.

The incident was caught on camera and the footage of it was shared on X (formerly Twitter) where it raised questions about road safety. According to the details shared along with the clip, the incident took place in Uttam Nagar around 6:30 AM on October 8.

Caught On Camera: Thar Stunt Ends In Crash

The viral video shows two men performing stunts on a moving Mahindra Thar. At the start, both are standing on the left side of the vehicle with the door open while the Thar is moving on a busy road. It is unclear who is driving the car at this moment.

Moments later, the Thar loses control and crashes. Before the impact, the left-side door is still open with one man standing on it who is thrown onto the road when the Thar hits. At the same time, the driver falls out from the right-side door.

The caption shared along with the video reads, “Delhi: These two boys were seen doing stunts on a Thar in Uttam Nagar, the one in the driver’s seat was also performing tricks standing on the left side. Moments later, this is what happened.”

‘Thar Drivers’ A Real Menace,’ Social Media Reacts

The viral video triggered a wave of reactions online. Some shared personal experiences with Thar drivers while others tagged the official Delhi Police accounts and demanded action against the men.

One user commented, “Beware of these arrogant Mahindra Thar idiots on our roads, it’s a real menace.”

Another said, “Wonder what Delhi Traffic Police, Delhi Police make of this? A Mahindra Thar is a glorified cardboard box on 4 wheels. But for some reason wannabes buy it & think they suddenly own the roads and the lives of people around those roads. It’s the car that makes some people clowns.”

Someone else remarked, “A mental health certificate should be made mandatory for purchasing a Thar,” while another added, “Buying a Thar should come with a mandatory IQ test prerequisite.”

A viewer shared a person experience, writing, “I always get scared every time Thar is behind or front of me because not once, I had a pleasant experience where Thar drivers drive peacefully without giving me heart attack.”

An individual said, “Bure kaam ka bura natoja (Bad work has bad results),” and another commented, “They got more than they deserved.”

Many tagged the official Delhi Police account urging action with a person saying, “Please look into this video and take some action against them.”

“Must challan them heavily so that they don’t perform such stunts again in life. Date/time: 8-Oct-2025 6:28 AM Uttam Nagar. This could have resulted in a loss of life. Delhi Police must also take cognizance of the incident,” read another comment.

As of now, Delhi Police have not confirmed whether any action has been taken against the men.
