He smashed five fours and nine sixes during his explosive innings at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium and helped RCB post a massive total of 254/5.

The nine sixes against GT took Patidar’s tally to 41 maximums in IPL 2026, helping him become the captain with the most sixes in a single T20 tournament.
Patidar’s tally of 41 sixes surpassed Riyan Parag’s record of 40 sixes as captain for Assam in the 2023–24 edition of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
