Chandigarh, Sep 1 (PTI) The Punjab government on Tuesday ordered the transfer of eight IPS officers, including four holding the rank of senior superintendent of police (SSP).
IPS officer Gurpreet Singh Bhullar has been posted as Inspector General of Police (Border Range), Amritsar, while Harmanbir Singh has been given the charge of Amritsar police commissioner, according to an order.
B S Meena has been posted as assistant inspector general (AIG), Personnel, while Varun Sharma will be the SSP of Mohali, replacing Harman Deep Singh Hans, who has been posted as SSP Patiala.
Suhail Qasim Mir has been posted as SSP Bathinda, replacing Jyoti Yadav, who has been given the charge of Commandant, 82nd Battalion, Chandigarh.
