Kolkata, Aug 11 (PTI) Skipper Ltd on Tuesday reported a 26.5-per cent rise in standalone profit after tax to Rs 56.5 crore for the quarter ended June, aided by margin expansion and record order inflows.
Revenue from operations increased 4.5 per cent to Rs 1,309.8 crore in the quarter under review. This marked the company’s highest-ever first-quarter revenue, it said in a statement.
EBITDA grew 10.2 per cent year-on-year to Rs 140.1 crore, with the EBITDA margin expanding to 10.7 per cent from 10.1 per cent.
The company’s closing order book stood at a record Rs 9,216.6 crore as on June 30, up 8.4 per cent from Rs 8,501.9 crore in the year-ago period, it said.
Order inflow during the quarter was Rs 1,674.4 crore, including two 765 kV transmission
line projects in Maharashtra. The bidding pipeline remained at an “all-time high” of over Rs 3,500 crore, the statement said.
Skipper also raised Rs 433.5 crore through a preferential equity issue to institutional investors during the quarter to June.
“We remain firmly on track to deliver on our FY’27 guidance of around 15 per cent revenue growth and approximately 30 per cent PAT growth,” Skipper Ltd Director Sharan Bansal said.
Director Devesh Bansal said the company’s ongoing 75,000-MTPA capacity expansion was progressing well, and it would take the total installed capacity to 450,000 MTPA from 375,000 MTPA.
The company also formed new wholly-owned subsidiaries in Brazil and the UAE during the quarter, with a US entity expected to be established soon, he added. PTI BSM RBT
