Anushka Sharma Calls Dhurandhar 2 'Gripping', Virat Kohli Says Film Is 'Absolutely Wow'

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli have finally watched Ranveer Singh’s latest release, Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge. On Monday night, both the stars took to their respective Instagram stories section to praise Aditya Dhar’s directorial. While Anushka called the film ‘gripping’, Kohli stated that the film is ‘absolutely wow’.

Anushka penned down a long note to praise Ranveer Singh and the rest of the cast of Dhurandhar 2 and called their performances ‘fantastic’. “What a fantastic film you’ve made @adityadharfilms! It takes so much conviction to make a almost 4 hr long film. Gripping and immersive, meticulously crafted, the film holds your attention through and through. You are a fiercely original and assured filmmaker

Virat Kohli Calls Film ‘Absolutely Wow’

Kohli also wrote, “Saw the film today and dare I say that I’ve never ever seen a cinematic experience like this made in India. It brought out every kind of emotion to the surface and I didn’t flinch once for almost 4 hours. @adityadharfilms your talent and conviction is reflected in what you’ve created. Hats off to you. You’re a genius. And although all actors were great in their roles BUT @ranveersingh you have attained a different level after this movie and your performance was beyond brilliant. Absolutely WOW (sic).”

Dhurandhar 2 Earns Rs 1000 Crore

The Ranveer Singh-led spy thriller, directed by Aditya Dhar, has crossed a major milestone by entering the Rs 1,000 crore club at the domestic box office. Within just 18 days of its release, the film has collected Rs 1,013.77 crore (net) in India, making it the first Bollywood film to achieve this feat.

Produced by B62 Studios and JioStudios, Dhurandhar 2 features a large ensemble cast including Arjun Rampal, Danish Pandor, Sanjay Dutt, Gaurav Gera, Rakesh Bedi, and R Madhavan. The film also stars Saumya Tandon, Udaybir Sandhu, Sara Arjun, Ashwin Dhar, among others.
