If your job keeps you at a desk for eight hours or more, the monitor you look at matters more than almost anything else on it. A small laptop screen makes you lean forward, a flickering panel tires your eyes, and a fixed stand forces your neck into the same position all day.
A good work monitor fixes most of this with a bigger screen, eye care features and a stand you can adjust. Here are five well rated options on Amazon, with prices as listed at the time of writing.
1. Dell SE2426H
The Dell SE2426H is the most affordable monitor on this list at Rs. 8,149, and a sensible first upgrade from a laptop screen. It has a 23.8-inch Full HD IPS panel with an anti-glare coating, which cuts reflections from windows and overhead lights during the day. The 144Hz refresh
rate makes scrolling through long documents and spreadsheets look smoother. It has two HDMI ports, so you can keep a work laptop and a personal device connected together. The stand only tilts, so you may need a monitor riser to set the height. It is rated 4.1 stars. Check the Dell SE2426H deal on Amazon.
2. Acer SA272 P1
The Acer SA272 P1 gives you a 27-inch screen for Rs. 8,628, the cheapest way on this list to get more room for side by side windows. It uses a Full HD IPS panel with a 144Hz refresh rate, zero frame borders and a thin 7.2mm profile that keeps the desk looking tidy. It has eye care features, built-in speakers for calls, and both HDMI and VGA ports, which is handy for older office laptops. Keep in mind that Full HD on a 27-inch screen looks less sharp up close than a QHD panel. It is rated 4.3 stars. See the Acer SA272 P1 offer on Amazon.
3. BenQ GW2490TC
The BenQ GW2490TC is the pick if posture is your main concern. Its stand adjusts for height, tilt, swivel and pivot, so you can set the top of the screen at eye level and even rotate it to portrait mode for long documents or code. BenQ markets it as an eye care monitor, and it covers 99% of the sRGB colour range. A USB-C port with 20W power lets you connect a laptop with a single cable, alongside HDMI and DisplayPort. It has a 24-inch Full HD IPS panel at 144Hz and built-in speakers. It costs Rs. 12,249 and is rated 4.3 stars. Grab the BenQ GW2490TC deal here.
4. BenQ GW2486TC
The BenQ GW2486TC is built for people who work off a laptop all day. Its USB-C port delivers up to 65W of power, enough to charge most thin and light laptops while also carrying video and data, so one cable does it all. It also has a USB hub and daisy chain support for adding a second screen. The stand adjusts for height, and BenQ includes its eye care features and a coding mode. The 24-inch Full HD IPS panel runs at 100Hz and covers 99% sRGB. It costs Rs. 15,990 and is rated 4.2 stars by over 600 buyers. View the BenQ GW2486TC price on Amazon.
5. BenQ GW2790QT
The BenQ GW2790QT is the most premium option here, and it makes the most sense if you spend your day reading text, writing code or working in spreadsheets. Its 27-inch QHD panel has a 2560×1440 resolution, so text looks noticeably sharper than on the Full HD monitors above and you can fit more on screen. It has USB-C with 65W charging, daisy chain support, a height adjustable stand, a coding mode and 99% sRGB coverage. It runs at 75Hz, which is fine for office work. It costs Rs. 26,990 and is the most reviewed monitor here, rated 4.1 stars by nearly 1,500 buyers. Check the BenQ GW2790QT deal on Amazon.

What actually matters for long workdays
A height adjustable stand is the most useful feature for long hours, because it lets you keep the top of the screen at eye level and your neck straight. If your monitor only tilts, a riser or a stack of books does the same job.
Flicker free backlights and low blue light modes can make long sessions more comfortable, but they are not a cure for eye strain. Regular breaks, good room lighting and the right screen distance matter just as much.
Tips before you buy
Follow the 20-20-20 rule. Every 20 minutes, look at something 20 feet away for 20 seconds.
Sit at arm’s length. Keep the screen roughly an arm’s length from your eyes.
Pick USB-C for laptops. A USB-C monitor with power delivery cuts down on cables and chargers.
Go QHD for text. At 27 inches, a QHD panel makes text much sharper than Full HD.
