People travelling through Delhi found themselves trapped in a massive traffic jam due to a woman who allegedly refused to accept her mistake. The incident happened during the daytime on a busy road, seemingly during rush hour, when a woman drove her car onto the wrong side of the road and then refused to reverse. She even argued with people who told her that she was wrong here.
A video shared on X showed the hatchback positioned in front of a truck in such a way that it blocked the movement of vehicles from the opposite side completely. Soon, tempers rose as people were captured repeatedly asking the woman sitting inside the car to clear the obstruction. Several bystanders and motorists were seen gathered near their car.
The man who filmed the
incident was heard saying the woman drove onto the wrong side and was refusing to take her car back. He further alleged that she was taking advantage of being a woman while refusing to correct her mistake. According to the man filming the incident, she declined to move her car and responded, saying, “I’m a lady.”
“Do you know how long the traffic jam is? It is because of you, ma’am. You take it back,” the man was heard telling her. The exact date and location of the incident could not be verified. It also remains unknown whether traffic police or authorities eventually intervened or took action against the driver.

Internet Asks “Where Is Traffic Police?”
In no time, social media users began criticising the woman’s behaviour, even though she was on the wrong side of the road.
One user said, “Her license should be cancelled for life & a big heavy fine should be imposed on her. Where are the traffic police?”
“Somehow, Delhiites usually show entitlement even for small issues,” a person remarked.
“Ye kya hai yaar. Accept your mistake & do the right thin.. I mean, sirf gaadi chalana aana is not enough. You have to follow the rules as well. A woman’s card will not save you everywhere. What is wrong is wrong,” commented another person.
“Only in India can you see this level of arrogance from wrongdoers,” said someone else.
“Traffic police kahin nhi dikh rahe. Kisi chaurahe pe baith ke innocent logo se jhoothe challan ka dar dikha ke vasooli kar rhe honge. Yahan kaun mathapachchi kare,” a different individual said while calling out to the traffic police.
Meanwhile, one person spoke about gender discrimination that they observed in the comments section and said, “The majority of accidents and road nuisance issues are caused by men. They drive on the wrong side and park in the middle of the road. But a woman does something wrong, & the entire gender is crucified. If it were a man in the car, the person shooting the video wouldn’t dare raise his voice.”
