Harry Potter fans have something new to look forward to, even before the reboot series arrives. The magic of JK Rowling’s world is now taking flight. LATAM Airlines has joined hands with Warner Bros. to let fans enjoy specially designed Harry Potter-themed flights.
This limited-time experience was introduced to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the first Harry Potter film, and it will run for a full year. Passengers can expect unique cabin designs, themed meals and fun collectable items inspired by the films. The full Harry Potter movie series will also be available on LATAM Play, along with extra content.
As part of this tie-up, LATAM has revealed two aircraft with Harry Potter artwork, a Boeing 787-9 and an Airbus A320. These planes will fly
on both local and global routes, which is a rare chance for fans to enjoy the magic while travelling.
LATAM and Warner Bros Bring Harry Potter to the Skies
A content creator, who was recently invited to the launch event, said, “LATAM launches its new Harry Potter aeroplane to the public in a great collaboration with Warner Bros. and very soon you’ll be able to experience this. We were invited to its launch. From the moment we arrived at the hotel, it was incredible. They greeted us with a mysterious box with event details. They even gave me Harry Potter’s wand, how crazy.”
Speaking about the experience, he added, “We arrived at the LATAM hanger, they had all the decorations and atmosphere and showed us the Harry Potter theme plane which was insane. Over the next 12 months, LATAM will offer its passengers a unique experience, they will be able to enjoy on-board experiences that will include visual elements and a decorated cabin. They will have access to collectable products and catering services with food inspired by the Harry Potter universe. In addition, all the movies are now available on LATAM Play. So get ready, Harry Potter fans, because soon you will be able to live this experience flying with LATAM Airlines.”

Harry Potter Fans React To Themed Aircraft

Routes Where the Harry Potter Flights Will Operate
LATAM’s Harry Potter-themed flights started operating on November 12. These special flights mainly run on routes from Santiago to cities like Madrid, Sydney, Miami, Sao Paulo, Easter Island, Melbourne, Auckland, New York, Cancun, Punta Cana and Los Angeles.
