Star India wicketkeeper-batter Ishan Kishan’s dancing celebration after winning the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy has gone viral online, after he ditched the customary strutting celebration and instead adopted
some desi moves to celebrate the historical win with his boys.
In recent times, multiple captains have mimicked Rohit Sharma or Lionel Messi’s trademark strut while celebrating title triumphs, but that was never going to be Ishan’s style.
The star Indian cricketer took the desi route, dancing to bhangra beats as he entered the team huddle before hoisting the trophy high above his head. Watch the video here:

Jharkhand thrashed Haryana on Thursday to lift their maiden Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy title. It marked the first time in 19 years that the tournament produced a new champion, underlining how smaller teams are innovating and thriving in the T20 format.
Ishan went on a six-hitting spree, smashing 10 maximums en route to a breathtaking 49-ball 101, as Jharkhand piled up an imposing 262/3.
Jharkhand’s bowlers, spearheaded by medium pacer Anukul Roy, struck twice in his opening over and maintained constant pressure with regular wickets to bowl out Haryana for 193, despite a fighting fifty from wicketkeeper-batter Yashvardhan Dalal (53).
Roy also smashed a 20-ball 40.
Jharkhand thus became the 12th state to win the nation’s premier T20 domestic tournament.
Asked to bat first, Ishan forged a decisive 177-run second-wicket stand with Kumar Kushagra, who played the ideal supporting role with a blistering 81 off 38 deliveries to keep the Haryana bowlers under constant pressure.
The hundred was Ishan’s second of the tournament. He was in scintillating form throughout, finishing as the leading run-scorer with 517 runs from 10 innings at a staggering strike rate of 197.32.
