At a quiz show, the actor had said that he wanted a cute baby just like his Deepika Padukone. “Jaisa ki aap log jaante hai meri shaadi ho gayi hai aur ab 2-3 saal me bacche bhi honge. Bhaisaab, aapki bhabhi [Deepika] itni cute baby thi na. Main to roz uski baby photos dekhta hoon aur kehta hoon ek aisi de de mujhe toh bus meri life set ho jaye,” he was quoted saying.

The actor shared the news with a personal post featuring her daughter Dua, making the moment even more special. The update is going viral as the couple, who welcomed their first child in 2024, had kept their family life largely private until now. Deepika took to Instagram to share the news in a simple yet emotional way. The post featured a glimpse of her daughter Dua Singh Padukone, who was seen holding a pregnancy test.

The two began dating in August 2012, after meeting on the sets of Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela. In October 2018, they announced their impending marriage, and the following month, wed in traditional Konkani Hindu and Sikh Anand Karaj ceremonies at the dreamy Lake Como, Italy.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Deepika Padukone is now shooting King with Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan. She is also working with Allu Arjun in an Atlee directorial.

The film’s total India gross now stands at Rs 1328.46 crore, while the India net collection has reached Rs 1109.83 crore so far. Released on March 19 with paid previews on March 18, Dhurandhar 2 continues the story of Ranveer Singh’s character, an Indian spy. The sequel shows his transformation into Hamza Ali Mazari and follows his rise in Lyari’s power structure while working to dismantle a terror network targeting India. The film also stars Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, Rakesh Bedi, Sara Arjun, Danish Pandor and Sanjay Dutt in pivotal roles.
