A viral video circulating on social media has sparked a fresh concern over the growing use of sparkler guns during wedding celebrations. The clip, shared by an X user identified as @BhanuNand, shows a groom riding a horse as part of his wedding procession, or baraat, while holding two sparkler guns, devices commonly used to create visual effects.
What begins as a celebratory moment quickly takes a dangerous turn. In the footage, one of the pyro guns held in the groom’s right hand suddenly malfunctions and explodes.
The unexpected blast appears to hit both the groom and the horse, causing a moment of chaos. While the full extent of any injuries remains unclear, the incident has triggered alarm among viewers about the potential risks associated
with such stunts.
The video was shared with the caption: “चाहे कितना भी Risk लेना पड़े कुछ भी हो जाए दुनिया इधर की उधर हो जाए लेकिन दूल्हे राजा की हवाबाजी नहीं रुकेगी” (No matter the risks, the groom’s swagger and attitude won’t change.)
As the clip gained traction, social media users flooded the comments section with a mix of reactions. One user remarked, “भाई कि शादी रोज थोड़ो होगी 😂” (brother is not getting married everyday.)
“I think it’s not about the groom king’s showboating but it’s about male so-called ego attitude showboating after that burn incident 🤣😂🤭🤭 bcoz groom show safety first after that burn incident took place. myPOV maybe,” said another.
Some reactions leaned toward sarcasm and lighthearted commentary. “खतरों के खिलाड़ी 😁” a third user said.

Another added, “Reels pe like bhi toh jaroori hai… Show off kaise karenge fir,” pointing to the influence of social media validation in encouraging such behaviour.
One comment read, “इश्क है तो रिस्क है, जिसने रिस्क लेना नहीं सीखा तो फिर उसने इश्क नहिं सीखा. (If there is love, there is risk. One who hasn’t learned to take risks hasn’t truly learned love.),” romanticising the incident, while another user countered the growing criticism by stating, “The reel should not be stopped,” indicating a divide in public opinion.
