New Delhi, Jun 16 (PTI) Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw will flag off the Pune-Danapur Amrit Bharat Express from Hadapsar railway station on Wednesday.
“This will be Maharashtra’s 8th and Pune Division’s second Amrit Bharat train providing affordable travel for the common man,” the ministry said in statement.
It added that the new Amrit Bharat Express will provide direct, affordable connectivity from Maharashtra to Jharkhand, eastern Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.
Officials stated that this will benefit students appearing for competitive exams, job aspirants, and migrant workers.
According to the statement, the service will aid patients travelling to Pune’s specialty hospitals and Patna’s medical centres, help small traders, and provide a regular link
for families during festivals like Chhath Puja, Holi, and Diwali.
The 11431 Pune-Danapur Amrit Bharat Express will depart Pune every Saturday at 15.30 hrs and arrive in Bihar’s Danapur at 01.30 hrs on Monday.
The 11432 Danapur-Pune Amrit Bharat Express will depart Danapur every Monday at 03.30 hrs and arrive in Pune at 11.05 hrs on Tuesday.
It will have stoppages at various stations including Ahilyanagar, Belapur, Kopargaon, Manmad, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Pipariya, Narsinghpur, Jabalpur, Katni, Maihar, Satna, Manikpur, Prayagraj Cheokki, Pt Deen Dayal Upadhyaya, Buxar, and Ara. PTI JP KVK KVK
