New Delhi, Sep 3 (PTI) Senior Delhi Traffic Police officers on Thursday held a meeting with the Bar Associations of the Supreme Court, Delhi High Court and Patiala House Court to brief them about traffic and parking arrangements for the upcoming BRICS Summit (September 11-12) in the national capital, officials said.
The representatives of the three Bar Associations were informed about the traffic management plans and specific parking arrangements being put in place to manage congestion during the summit period, police said.
The traffic police officers assured the representatives that necessary arrangements had been made to ensure smooth movement of traffic in and around the Supreme Court, High Court and Patiala House Court, officials said.
The
BRICS Summit is expected to bring increased movement and security-related traffic management requirements in the city, prompting the traffic police to coordinate with stakeholders in areas likely to be affected. PTI SSJ SSJ AMJ AMJ
