Desi girl Priyanka Chopra is back in India! The actress turned heads as she arrived at Hyderabad airport with husband Nick Jonas and their adorable four-year-old daughter, Malti Marie. The family made a rare public appearance together, leaving fans pleasantly surprised. The actress is reportedly in Hyderabad for the shoot of SS Rajamouli’s highly anticipated upcoming film Varanasi, which also stars Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran.

completed the look with a beige cap, black sunglasses, and brown flats, striking the perfect balance between style and ease.
Meanwhile, Nick Jonas opted for a relaxed all-black outfit, pairing a black shirt with matching trousers. He rounded off his look with white-and-black sneakers and tinted sunglasses. The singer was also seen carrying Malti Marie in his arms as the family made their way out of the airport together.
With Priyanka back in India and Nick Jonas accompanying her along with Malti Marie, fans are eagerly waiting for more glimpses of the family during their India visit!
Priyanka Chopra’s First Look Glimpses From Varanasi
Priyanka celebrated her 44th birthday on July 18, and on this special occasion, director SS Rajamouli treated fans by sharing the first glimpses of her character ‘Mandakini’ from the film. The first photo showed Priyanka in an intense and fierce look. Wearing a black sheer outfit, with her wavy hair tied up in a messy bun, the actor exuded confidence. The second photo showed a different mood altogether. Priyanka was seen smiling as she jumped in an open field with her arms stretched wide.
Sharing the photos on social media, SS Rajamouli described her character with a striking caption: “Grace when she smiles. Fire when she doesn’t.” He added, “Mandakini… @PriyankaChopra in #Varanasi,” offering fans a glimpse of the different emotions attached to her character.
About Varanasi
The film is directed by SS Rajamouli and written by Vijayendra Prasad. It marks the filmmaker’s first feature since the global success of RRR and brings together Mahesh Babu, Prithviraj Sukumaran and Priyanka Chopra. The film brings together mythology and Indian folklore with science-fiction elements, including time travel, to create a globe-trotting adventure.
Varanasi also marks Priyanka Chopra’s return to Indian cinema after an eight-year gap. The actor’s comeback, combined with Rajamouli’s first film after RRR, has made the project one of the most closely watched productions currently in development.
While a major portion of the film has already been shot, only a few smaller interconnecting scenes remain. Earlier, SS Rajamouli had shared that the team is hopeful of wrapping up filming by September or October this year.
Varanasi is scheduled for worldwide theatrical release on 7 April, 2027.
